This is such a happy and loveable piece. THis Panda cub has such an adorable expression of guilt. An expression of being caught red handed doing something naughty and then not wanting to get into trouble with his mum. I love this boy and spent many delightful hours painting him. It took me lots of pastel sticks and lots of cuts from the sanded paper to bring this little fellow to life in a painting. this entire work is done in soft pastels and pastel pencils.
Panda is one of the endangered species of the world. There is a lot of effort being made around the globe to bring more awareness and lots of efforts are being made to save this lovnig and beautiful animal.
