In winter months when the flowers are few it's their paintings that bring me immense joy. When we were growing up my sister would painstakingly make these fabulous paintings of flowers from memory. i was always fascinated with how easily she would manipulate color and these gorgeous blooms would take shape. Each time I paint flowers I feel the same awe that the seven year old me felt all those years ago.
