We all have fun family recipes that are passed on from one generation to another. My favorite happens to be my Gran's apple pie. She was an amazing cook and would involve all the kids in the process from washing to peeling and everything in between, trust me there was a whole lot of squealing and laughter as well. We all thought it was just an apple pie but in reality it was start of making memories with family.The holiday season brings with it so many cherished memories and some fond new ones.
